This was a joy to paint using a mix of purple, green and gold acrylic paints.

The lacing was created using a swiping method create the ‘feathers’ look. What worked well was the use of oil and my trusty blow torch to create pockets of colours and cells. Finally, I drew in the peacock using gold paint to give definition and texture to the peacock’s body and face. Shimmer shimmer… Purple Peacock is in a floating frame and ready to be hung in your home.
