Acrylic pouring paints were used to create the main flowers. The colours look dark but under light, they shimmer. The gold mixed into parts of the painting lift it further and give it more of a meadow affect.

I wanted to do a pieces that could be hung anywhere in the house and be recognisable – as flowers – but not overly girly. This blue tone and darker colours help to make it so..
