This is a new direction for me and I am loving the results.
This is a texture piece on a board and framed behind glass. I used a mix of my favourite colours; blue gold and turquoise to create this atmospheric piece. Inspired by a trip to Cape Horn earlier this year, this reminded me of the lighthouse that I took a picture of whilst sailing by. It has a sister piece which is still under construction but will join Light of Peace soon.
The lighthouse I saw was part of a bigger conflict in recent history and by using the gold leaf to create the light tones, it reminds me of how peace can come from conflict.
