White, blue and gold acrylic paint was used on this canvas  and then a ‘swipe’ technic used to produce this style across the canvas.

The cells and lacing created from the swipe allowed for other colours to show through. A blow torch was used to finish, and I then drew the face to detail in give the image more meaning.

Sealed with a spray varnish to show texture. The Surrounding colour is a baby blue with gold sweeps.

This was a joy to create and has inspired more ideas in this style. If you would like one similar, let me know and I’ll happily do another just like this.
